@paul these A.I. ads are all terrible, I can’t understand how they got approved
@paul –
Why are practically all these ads about covering for personal and social negligence using Apple Intelligence in a way that depends on others not knowing about Apple Intelligence, depicted within Apple's attempt to ensure everyone knows about Apple Intelligence…?
@paul I liked the Crush ad but can understand those that didn’t. I don’t understand how anyone likes this.
@paul I hated this commercial. Is this really supposed to make us want to do this‽
@paul really curious if the same agency that made this piece of trash also made the delightful weightlifter one.
@paul this is worse than the crush commercial
@paul did AI write this script because it’s as awful as
Mom’s ’present.’
@paul so tone deaf.
@paul Apple Intelligence... our target audience is forgetful assholes
@paul outsource your love to AI!
@paul Thing is the concept of creating the video isn't bad. They just get it so wrong, is trying to sell it.
Not only is it the lowest effort of gifts (it's locked away on her phone even), it looks like she makes a face over the hammer like she's cranky about her own daughter remembering the birthday and actually getting a gift. Then she's smug af over the 'gift' she gives.
@fds several layers of awful person, its really impressive in such a short amount of time.
@paul This is worse than the crushed iPad. They need an app that helps them to read the room.
@paul and I thought the Bella Ramsey Apple Intelligence ones were bad.
@paul Someone needs to lop off the end and replace it with a clip of the phone being thrown in the toilet.
@paul “iphone it in!”
@paul Ooof. How did they think that would be a good ad?
@kaiserkiwi @paul Probably written by Apple Intelligence for a writer who forgot about the deadline to hand in the script for the Ad.
@paul Such a contrast to the things they used to promote in their ads:
@paul I feel like they could do a much better ad for setting an alert on calendar events. Never forget your husband's birthday again!
